Moving from HS to college, it was important to us that our son understand the material, in addition to making the grade. Welcome to Mariposa Math Tutoring

After 28 years, I retired as a fulltime, award-winning math teacher at the University of Texas at Austin. In addition, I have been a private math and writing tutor with my lifetime secondary certification to teach math and English in the state of Texas. Most of all, I sincerely enjoy helping each student reach his or her full potential.

Multiple Skills for Multiple Students of All Ages

I successfully work with students of all ages. I tutor elementary, middle school, high school, and college math through differential and integral calculus. I also enjoy creating and editing college admission essays as well as other writing assignments.

Much of my UT career was dedicated to first-generation scholastic programs, instilling me with a passion to help students who encounter academic challenges. Moreover, my tutoring specialties include assisting students who are crippled by a fear of math or who have learning
or physical disabilities.
